Sample Programs

Here are a few samples of my work that you can download.

These programs are free. Take them. Enjoy them. (I wrote them for myself — just for fun, not for money.)

IQ Booster

The first program is called IQ Booster. This is version 2.1. It runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

(This is an old program. Under Windows Vista and Windows 7, on-line help will be unavailable unless you have installed WinHelp. Details can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607. But you won't need it, since the program is so easy to use.)

The file is a self-installing archive named IQBSetup.exe. Download it and run it. It will install IQ Booster.

Installation instructions:

• In the first dialog box, click "Setup".
• In the rest of the dialog boxes, click "Next", and in the final one, click "Finish".
• After clicking "Finish", wait for the original dialog box to go away (it takes a moment to clean up all the temporary files used for installation).
• You can then delete IQBSetup.exe, if you like, or keep it, just in case.

The installation file requires 648 KB. The program itself requires only 200 KB.

Trees Screen Saver

The second program is a screen saver called Trees. This is version 1.1. It runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

The installation file requires 650 KB. The program itself requires less than 150KB.

PocketWatch Screen Saver

The third program is a screen saver called PocketWatch. This is version 2.1. It runs on Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

The file is a self-installing archive named PocketWatchSetup.exe. Download it and run it. It will install the PocketWatch screen saver.

Installation instructions (another really simple one):

• In the first dialog box, click "Setup".
• In the next dialog box, click "Next", and in the final dialog box, click "Finish".
• After clicking "Finish", wait for the original dialog box to go away (it takes a moment to clean up all the temporary files used for installation).
• You can then delete PocketWatchSetup.exe, if you like, or keep it, just in case.

The installation file requires 776 KB. The program itself requires less than 1.2MB.
